This morning (26 August) Nigel and Daphne were once again guests on the lovely Annie Othen's show on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire. The conversation contained much gloom and doom about the property market, but when asked about overseas investment Nigel mentioned New Orleans as a potential source of profit. Many listeners wanted more details and were directed to look at the Property Presentation Services website for further information.
The scheme Nigel was talking about is called the GO Zone(Gulf Opportunity Zone) and covers the areas badly hit by Hurricane Katrina. The US Government set up this regeneration package in 2005 and is offering some attractive investment incentives.
